Care for carers

Wellbeing circles begin in Rakai Town

A monthly, confidential space for nurses and midwives to talk, led by trained peers.

Two MANCO team members hug at an outreach site

Our first wellbeing circle met in a borrowed classroom in Rakai Town, with twelve chairs and a flask of tea.

Why circles

Nurses and midwives told us they rarely get the chance to talk about the hard parts of the job. Wellbeing circles give them that chance, in confidence, with colleagues who understand.

How to join

Circles are open to all MANCO members and to any nurse or midwife working in Rakai District. Contact your Center, or write to us through the contact page.
