How we tell stories

Dignity first, every time

The people we serve are not props. These are the rules our team follows before a single word or photo is published.

  • We ask first

Written consent before any photo or story, explained in the person's own language.

  • We change names

Unless someone asks to be named, and understands what that means.

  • No faces with diagnoses

We never show a patient's face next to details of their health.

  • No pity

We show people as capable and in charge of their lives, because they are.

Help write the next story

Every story starts with an outreach day that someone paid for.
