A general gift lets the Centers move fast: fuel when an outreach day is short, test kits when the rains bring malaria, a ride for a mother in labour tonight.
What a monthly gift does
Monthly gifts are how we plan. They let a Center book an outreach day months ahead, instead of waiting to see what comes in.

- A clean delivery kit for one mother, every month

- Malaria tests and treatment for five children

- A twelfth of an outreach day: the whole day, once a year

Supplies
Gloves, test kits, blood pressure machines and delivery kit items. Please ask first, so we only receive what we can use.

Most of every shilling goes to the field
Our target, for the Board to confirm: at least 80 of every 100 shillings spent on care in the field. The audited accounts show how close we came.

Questions people ask
How is my donation used?
When you give to a cause, your money goes to that cause. Every cause lists exactly what it buys and what each item costs. If a cause raises more than its goal, the extra goes to the next most urgent cause in the same programme, and we say so in the updates. General gifts go where the need is greatest.
How do I give from my phone?
Choose a cause or give generally, then pay our MTN MoMoPay or Airtel Money merchant code from your phone. Check that the name shown is MANCO before you enter your PIN. Then send us the transaction ID from your confirmation SMS through the form. Our finance team checks it against our merchant statement and confirms your gift, usually within one working day.
Can I give from outside Uganda?
Yes. Friends abroad can pay our merchant code through a Mobile Money transfer service, or ask us for bank transfer details through the contact page.
What happens if a cause does not reach its goal?
We spend what was raised on the most useful part of that cause, for example 40 delivery kits instead of 60, and explain this in the cause updates. We never quietly move money to an unrelated cause.
Will I hear what my gift did?
Yes. Every cause page has an updates section, written by the Center that requested it. If you leave an email address, we will send you the final update when the cause is complete.
