The need
Village health team volunteers are the people a mother calls first. In Ddwaniro, where we have not yet held an outreach day, they will be our partners from the start.
Two MANCO midwives will run a two day course covering danger signs in pregnancy, newborn care in the first week, and how and when to refer. Each volunteer leaves with a picture guide and a phone list.
