Growth checks for young children in Lwamaggwa

Arm measuring tapes and two baby scales, so every child under five at outreach gets a growth check.

This season

The need

A colour coded tape around a child's upper arm can show, in seconds, whether that child needs help. Two good baby scales let us track growth from one visit to the next.

This equipment will travel with the outreach team and stay with the Center between visits, so village health volunteers can use it too.

What your money buys

One equipment set costs UGX 660,000. Here is where the money goes.
